After two poor performances, including a big loss to Ag College before the bye, the Bulls responded in the best possible fashion at Jarrah Oval.
They were able to dictate terms to make it four wins from their first five games.
Coach Morgan Grivas was impressed with the improvement.
"The guys have responded to things that needed changing and executed reality well," Grivas said.
"We needed to be smarter with how we were running the ball in the forwards, we were very poor at that two weeks ago despite the amount of possession we were able to have.
"It showed when weren't able to put points on the board, we didn't get over the advantage line and didn't use the space Aggies showed us.
"Whereas we were a lot more responsive to what was in front out us against Leeton and able to do a better job of getting over the advantage line and exploit that."
Leeton and Tumut have built a real rivalry in recent years and Grivas was pleased to get one back over them.
However it could have come at a cost with Harrison Friswell (knee) among their injury concerns.
Grivas is hoping it isn't too bad.
"We still have to do some work to figure how serious that might be," he said.
"He was up and walking around by the end of the game so hopefully he will come good relatively quickly."
Coen Potter (hamstring) also failed to play out the game for the second week running in what seems to be a cursed number 15 jumper while Stu Govan (knee) didn't finish the game either.
As for Leeton they've now lost more games than they've won.
Last year's preliminary finalists remain in fifth but have now lost to the top three sides, Ag College, Waratahs and Tumut, and have a clash with fourth-placed Wagga City on Saturday.
