However Young are on the cusp of the top five after a big win over Southcity in the Group Nine leaguetag competition.
Coming off a draw with grand finalists Albury last week, the Bulls had no answers to the onslaught 40-0 at Alfred Oval on Sunday.
Young coach Saul Lealaitafea was thrilled with the performance.
"I'm ecstatic," Lealaitafea said.
"We had two bad losses to Brothers and Temora but the girls have really turned it around.
"I feel the morale in the team is really high."
The Cherrypickers are just outside the top five on percentage with three wins and three losses so far.
Lealaitafea feared consecutive losses to lowly Gundagai and then undefeated Brothers and Temora could have derailed their season but they haven't conceded a point in their last two games.
"I've got younger girls who have stepped up this year who went undefeated in the younger grades," he said
"I think it was a big wake up call to them with how high the standard is and how big of a jump it was.
"They will get it when they play them next."
Chloe Muggleton and Sienna Smith have been leading the way and Lealaitafea hopes they can continue their strong form when they face Albury after the bye.
Young are behind Kangaroos on percentage after the Wagga's side 86-0 win over Junee while Southcity and Albury, who had the bye, are a point further ahead.
Temora continued their unbeaten start with a 36-4 win over Gundagai and lead Brothers on for and against after the premiers 22-4 win over Cootamundra.
The top two sides clash on Sunday.
