Sydney trainer Frank Hurst had a successful venture to Wagga, winning two of the three heats with littermates on Friday night.
At her first look the track Good Odds Meghan ($2.10 fav) stormed to the front from box five and was never headed.
Stopping the clock in 30.10, her time was just 0.03 outside the track record set by Chilly Baby in 2013.
Bringing strong Wentworth Park form into Wagga's feature race, Hurst was impressed with her efforts.
"She begun, went good and run a good time just outside the record," Hurst said.
Not to be outdone by his sister, Good Odds Buddy ($1.80 fav) took out the third of the heats.
He won by over five lengths in a time of 30.14
However even before the box draw Hurst nominated Good Odds Meghan as the best of his hopes.
"The bitch is always the better chance as she's a reliable beginner," he said.
"She begins eight times out of 10 and is a purple patch at the moment.
"The dog is good too but he's not really as quick as her early."
Meanwhile a fast start helped veteran Corleone King continue is hot streak in the opening heat.
After winning four of his last five starts, with his other effort a third, the Garry Kimber-trained dog booked his place in the final with an all-the-way effort.
Holding off a late charge from Cawbourne Madox to win by just over a length, he clocked 30.23 seconds.
Corleone King is no spring chicken, with his heat success his 26th win from 87 starts, but after good performances last year the Young kennel decided to keep on persisting.
It's certainly paying off.
"He's a very good dog, he's getting a little bit old but after the Million Dollar Chase heats we thought why not bring him back," Lloyd Kimber said.
"We're finally finding a working pattern with him as even though he's getting a little bit old he still loves coming out and racing."
Jodie Lord qualified three for the final after finishing second in each of the heats.
Cawbourne Madox, Cawborne Marty and Winlock Huddy will represent the Gunning trainer.
John Hartley will fly the hopes for Wagga after Tennesse Tiger after finishing third behind Good Odds Meghan.
Illabo trainer Peter Sims completes the field with a fast-finishing Tom's Desire qualifying from the first heat.
The box draw is on Monday with the $10,000-to-the-winner final to be run on Friday.
