It was just the third race run under 1:53 at Wagga's new track and half a second off Elle Yeah's track record set in March.

Hewitt was impressed with the son of Pet Rock, who he also bred and owns.
"He went super," Hewitt said. "He's fairly strong and ran home really nice for a really good second at Goulburn two runs ago and off his track work he's a nice strong fella who might lack the real high speed but can maintain it for a fair way."
After a restricted win at Canberra in March, Hewitt was pleased the consistent pacer was able to go one better with more prizemoney and two bonuses on the line.
The Goulburn trainer was also impressed with the track.
"It's the first time I've been here, and his first time too, but we work on the bigger track like this and I think it suits him," Hewitt said.
"It's nice to race on tracks like this."
Hewitt won't be waiting as long for his next trip to Wagga with plans to bring Im Bruce Almighty back next week for the heats of the NSW Breeders Challenge.
