The Source Bulk Foods has been a vision of locals' Jenny and Rick Storrier for two years that only came to fruition in past six months.
The young 'foodies' noticed a gap in the market after moving to the city with their family.
At first the couple hoped to bring good quality food to the city and educate people about wellness. But eventually, the zero-waste concept became more-and-more appealing.
"I came to it because of belly and since going through this process it has brought more awareness to me," Mr Storrier said.
Three-hundred whole foods and household products have lined the shelves - all organic, vegan, gluten-free and paleo-friendly.
Mrs Storrier is excited for the business venture to officially start with the hopes of The Source Bulk Foods becoming a hub for the community in the near future.
"There will be people who know and understand the brand and people who are really curious and we get to educate and guide them through that process," she said.
The Source Bulk Foods, on the corner of Forsyth and Best street, will open on Thursday morning at 9am.
