The Village has been operating for more than 20 years with the assisted-living apartments operating for the past 11 years.
Settlers is non-asset tested so pension or self-funded retirees have peace of mind knowing retirement living is affordable.
"Settler's residents enjoy a maintenance free lifestyle along with safety, security and there is the sociability aspect of village life including activities and functions for residents to enjoy," manager Steve McCrea said.
"Settlers has an emergency call system in place to ensure residents have access to 24/7 assistance.
"Apartments provide nursing staff around the clock day and night to care and support residents.
"We supply meals to apartment residents prepared by qualified chefs and our laundry and cleaning staff look after the mundane living tasks."
However, it's not just safety and day-to-day living that is looked after for residents at Settlers Village, their physical and mental health is also a focus.
The activities officer runs daily exercise and activity programs to ensure you are occupied with a variety of things to do and our residents can go on supported outings.
"Our residents enjoy sociability and comfort knowing support is not far away if needed," Mr McCrea said.
"Our Registered Nurse oversees resident daily care and is available to speak to families, doctors to keep everyone updated on health and well-being of our residents.
"Residents use the pool, spa and the community centre and attend activities and functions run by residents for residents.
"Resident satisfaction is a key priority to owners and managers of Settlers Village.
"We achieve this with open communication and we take the time to listen to residents in meetings and also via our surveys.
"Managers attend resident committee meetings to discuss issues that may arise from time to time."
Settlers Village is located six kilometers from the centre of Wagga with volunteer drivers providing a bus service five days a week.
The village offers residents a spacious peaceful village life consisting of more than 25 acres of gardens.
