One Dragons captain-coach Sam Elwin is looking to change.
Temora conceded two tries in the last eight minutes to play out a 22-all draw with Young on Sunday, denying them a second win in the first four weeks on the Group Nine season.
It left a sour taste.
"It's frustrating as I felt we played well enough to get the two points," Elwin said.
"We just have to learn to win as really good sides defend those last three minutes but unfortunately we didn't keep them down their end."
Elwin admitted the young side blew a chance to rise up a congested Group Nine ladder by not playing out those final few minutes.
They are now seventh, behind the Cherrypickers on percentage, and a win outside the top five.
Conceding points after scoring is one thing he really wants to work out heading into the clash with Kangaroos on Sunday.
"We definitely played well enough to win, but after we scored every try, especially in the first half, we made a mistake off the kick off and they scored straight back," he said.
"That just isn't good enough and you have to complete after points so I thought we deserved the two points and there are lot of more positives to take out of it than in the last few weeks."

With plenty of reinforcements on the way Elwin is looking for a better performance against the Wagga side, who are also coming off a draw.
Queensland recruits Jarrod Lee and Blake Appo are expected to return after missing the last two games due to work commitments while Paul Ferguson and Luke McCabe should be fit for the clash at Nixon Park.
"We're looking at getting four back this week which will be really good," Elwin said.
"It should make things very positive."
Elwin is also looking for another good game from their Papua New Guinea recruits Sipa Korken and Joshua Nani.
They made much more of an impact in their second game in Australia after wearing boots that fitted this time around.
"The Papua New Guinea boys were really good, they had some really good carries and Sammy (Korken) reckons he scored with about three minutes to go but it got disallowed.
"That is when they ran 100 metres and scored."
Kangaroos have some injury concerns of their own.
Coach Glenn Dumbrell played limited minutes on his return from an ankle injury while centre Lachlan Cuell is expected to miss the clash after injuring his knee late in the 18-all draw with Brothers on Sunday.
