Event coordinator Angela Boulton said she knew a lot of people had been disappointed when the event didn't go ahead.
"We wanted to bring a fun and affordable option for parents to entertain their children after the Easter break," she said.
"It is not the same format as our usual Christmas Village."
Ms Boulton said the event will feature a Disney Princess show with local performers singing and dancing their way through some of the most popular songs.
"We have some incredible singers and dancers," she said.
"There's a range of songs from Frozen, Tangled, Aladdin, Moana and more.
"Afterwards, there is time for kids to meet the characters and have a bit to eat."
Entry is $2 per person, under one is free, with all proceeds going to a local charity, the Specialist Medical Resources Foundation.
The show will run in three sessions: 12pm to 2pm, 2pm to 4pm and 4pm to 6pm this Saturday at the Wesley Uniting Church.
Ms Boulton said Light the Night will return as usual at the end of 2019.
