The Phantoms were pummeled by Wagga Ag College in their last outing in round two of the competition at No. 1 Oval.
With so many home games to start the season, Rogo said it was crucial for Leeton to win those games before heading in the opposite side of the draw later this year when they will be on the road for several weeks.
He said heading into this weekend's game against Albury, it was crucial the side looked at its mistakes and rectified them.
"It was a big wake up call for everyone after the last game and the loss to Wagga Ag College," Rogo said.
"There will be some changes to the side this weekend.

"It's important to know about the players, the positions they play in and try and work on our combinations moving forward."
The Phantoms will also need to replace flanker Mesulame Navakayala after he was suspended for three weeks by the Southern Inland Rugby Union judiciary for striking Ag College winger Simon Miller.
With the Anzac Day public holiday on Thursday, Rogo said the players would be fitting in another training night this week to ensure they were prepared for Saturday's game against the Steamers.
Albury are yet to win a match this season, but Rogo said they always tended to provide a challenge.
"I haven't heard much about them yet or how they have been going, but Albury always seem to be a tough side," he said.
"They have a couple of old heads in their team who lead the team well.
"We need to stand up and work on all of our mistakes that we did in the last game and make sure we don't repeat it this week.
"We can't afford to lose any more games, especially the ones at home.
"We have to win the home games before we start travelling.
"It's very important and the boys know that. They will be ready to go this weekend."
The Phantoms will kick off against the Steamers at 3.20pm.
