Cooper Diessel, Cody Bramich and James Clarke have quit the Bulldogs to play with the Magpies in the Farrer League.
The trio signed with TRYC on Thursday night and were late withdrawals from Turvey Park's teams to play Wagga Tigers on Good Friday.
The trio were pursued by a number of Farrer League clubs once it became clear they were leaving Maher Oval and TRYC coach Tom Yates was pleased to get them to the Magpies.
"It's exciting," Yates said.
"At the end of the day we're zero (wins) and two (losses) and we've got a tough three weeks ahead. We're looking forward to the challenge of it and to have these extra few blokes come on board will be good.
"We've got a lot of blokes competing for spots already, let alone another three blokes coming in so it will be good for our depth."
Yates said a decision on whether their three latest recruits come straight into first grade to face Marrar on Saturday will be made later in the week.
Diessel played first grade for Turvey Park in their round one win over Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes. He played all 16 first grade games last year in his first season out of under 17s.
Bramich and Clarke both started this season in reserve grade but played a handful of senior games last year and were in the Bulldogs' first grade squad.
Diessel is a utility who is expected to be used through the midfield at TRYC, while Bramich is a full-forward and Clarke a key defender.
Yates is looking forward to getting a look at the trio in Magpies colours.
"It's a bit of an unknown for us because we haven't actually seen them play," he said.
"Obviously Cooper has played a bit of first grade, but we've been told Bramich and Clarke are pretty handy as well.
"They'll be handy for us, it's three new faces so we're happy to have them on board and it adds to our depth as well.
"They're young blokes as well, all 19, and at the end of the day we've recruited to bring youth into the club so hopefully they stick around for a while and play some good footy.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how they go."
Diessel has a link to TRYC, with the late Mark 'Grunter' O'Leary being his godfather.
They will be available for selection for the Magpies in Saturday's important clash against Marrar at Langtry Oval.
Both teams will be searching for their first win of the season in the annual Anzac Challenge.
