Police are investigating a car fire that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The fire was on Elizabeth Street and was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
Acting Inspector Steve Magnone said the cause of the fire was unknown, but police are investigating the incident.
He said the fire did not spread beyond the vehicle and the car was damaged beyond repair.
Acting Inspector Magnone encouraged anyone with further information could contact Wagga Police Station on 6922 2599.

Firefighters from the Turvey Park Fire Station have contained a car fire this morning.
At about 4am on Tuesday, firefighters were called to reports of a Ford Territory on fire in North Wagga.
Turvey Park Fire Station's firefighter Zale Bailey said the station dispatched one crew to the incident.
Mr Bailey said the crew arrived shortly after 4am and firefighters took about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.
He said the incident was now in the hands of the city's police, who will investigate the cause of the fire.
