A RIVERINA man who pleaded guilty to a string of break and enters and thefts has told a Wagga court that he did so to fund his drug habit.

Dustyn James Morgan, 27, of Narrandera appeared in Wagga District Court on April 16 after pleading guilty to 16 charges, including eight counts of break and enter, four counts of having unlawfully obtained goods on his premises, and two counts relating to car theft.
Morgan is also charged with engaging in a police pursuit.
All of the offences were committed across the Narrandera area in 10 days in 2017.
Items stolen included a car, computers, phones, knives, beauty products and 240 kilograms of dog biscuits.
During sentencing on April 16, Morgan said he had planned to sell the items to buy more drugs.
Judge Gordon Lerve has reserved his sentence until May 24.
