Thunder posted 30 unanswered points from midway through the first half to rack up a 40-16 hiding.
Giant lock Luke Ingram was a colossus, running for more than 200m, posting 30-plus tackles and scoring a try.
"We've got to hold on to the footy, we probably lost our way a little bit there in the first half and it doesn't matter how big your forwards are, we just got tired," coach Adrian Purtell said.
"If we control the ball we've got some good agile forwards and that's where we need to attack."
Brothers lost two players in the sin bin as they tried desperately to slow down Thunder's forwards.
Closing in on half-time, blockbusting back-rower Liam Wiscombe crashed through on a 40m run with the visitors' hooker Aaron Wynne binned for holding him down.
Front-rowers Brad Nicholson and Brad Hill also carted the ball forward as the pack gained the ascendancy early in the second half.
"Definitely mate, they've bought really well and they controlled the ruck on us," Brothers' coach Peter Little said.
"Their forward pack, they push through every time, we just couldn't slow them down."
But Brothers started the scoring in the third minute and it was all too simple as Nicholas Hay crossed untouched.
Thunder then posted a crackerjack 65m try after elusive fullback James Girdler squirted through the ruck and raced away, finding Purtell, who then backed up Etu Uaisele's pass.
And Purtell then gave the last pass, a 10m cut-out, for Curtly Jenkinson.
But the visitors regained the lead when they produced a classy attacking movement for Little to score.
From there though, Thunder rattled on five tries to nil in a 32-minute period.
Apart from the pack, the lightweight Girdler was a handful for the defence, dancing his way through a number of times.
Wynne was clever, twice winning penalties for his team after catching opponents offside at marker, while prop Clifford Morris battled hard.
Thunder started last week with a 28-all draw against premiers Gundagai.
The league now has a bye for Easter with Albury to hit the road to Temora in a fortnight.
