Tumut are expecting an expansive approach from Temora as the two narrow round one winners clash at Twickenham on Sunday.
The Dragons shocked the competition with a win over Southcity, and Blues co-coach Adam Pearce knows his side will have to be on their toes to avoid the same fate.
"I watched their game during the week and they seem to throw the ball around a lot and look like they have a few new players there so they should go pretty this year," Pearce said.
He didn't think the Blues were at their best against Brothers and is looking for their defence to improve.
"Our defence wasn't that good," Pearce said.
"Scrambling defence was alright stopping tries but with our wrestle we let them get kick play the balls so if we can slow down Temora it takes away from their halves a bit more."
The Blues are expected to go into the clash unchanged with Josh Webb yet to recover from a hamstring complaint.
