Jake Raves, Jack Thompson, Dyland McPhail, Walt Morton and Andrew Corrigan all come out while Rowan O'Keefe's recall to ruck was shortlived as he's also a late withdrawal from their named side. 

But Noonan hopes they're better placed than some previous years to handle the changes.

"We've got a fair few changes, a lot of boys are away due to holidays," Noonan said. 

"I'm pretty confident with the depth we've got there. We've just got to go out and try our best at Barellan and see what we come away with. 

"I'm not worried. But I don't think we can take anyone lightly this year at all... I think everyone can be competitive which is good for the league. From a coaching perspective, it's pretty hard. 

"It's a credit to Barellan what they're doing with their players. I heard they had a really good game against North Wagga last week and definitely my message to our boys is that they're not the same Barellan as they were last year... we've got to be really competitive and put everything in."

The Bushpigs opened with a loss to Temora, who came from three goals down in the last quarter. Six days on, Noonan was still choosing his words carefully. 

"There's probably a lot I could say about it but we just lost that game. That was it really," he said.

"I wasn't disappointed in my boys at all really. I was mainly disappointed in myself and probably in some other things but I think as a whole, the players, they gave it their all."

Noonan's vocal reaction to a free kick against his side cost them a couple of 50m penalties in the third quarter.

He was pleased with the way his side attacked the footy and said, after the holidays, their focus is on continuing to get used to playing with each other and ensure they gel quicker than they did last year.
