Emergency services were called to Tichborne Crescent, Kooringal shortly after 6am on February 25 after a blaze broke out.
Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Spliet said the Riverina Police District are now releasing CCTV footage of a person driving along the road immediately before the house is engulfed by flames.
"Police have established Strike Force Burrow to investigate the matter," he said.
"Our local detectives and officers have conducted a large amount of inquiries and spoken to a number of witnesses in relation to that matter.
"We are now specifically asking members of the public to assist us in relation to a vehicle that was seen in the area at the same."
The vehicle is described as a dual cab ute with a trailer and it was captured on CCTV at 6.10am that morning on Tichborne Crescent.
"We believe the driver of that vehicle may have witnessed some events in relation to that fire," Inspector Spliet said.
"We have done an in-depth investigation...but we haven't been able to identify the driver of this vehicle."
Inspector Spliet said the driver is not being treated as suspicious and anyone with information is asked to contact Wagga Police Station on 6922 2599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
