Wagga teenager Luke Nixon upstaged a host of more experienced opponents to capture the third leg of the Tour de Riverina.

The 14-year-old became one of the youngest stage winners in the tour's history with a remarkable performance to take out the Raymond Jarratt Handicap on Sunday at Barooga.
A member of Wagga Cycling Club, Nixon only took up the sport in June last year and 10 months later, is now one of the Tour de Riverina leaders after three rounds.
Nixon defeated Cobram-Barooga's Bevan Humphries and Wangaratta's Rob Sullivan, as 50 cyclists took part from as far south as Bandigo and as far north as Queensland.
The victory earned Nixon a share of the lead in the Tour de Riverina.
He is level with Kylie Johnson, Jack Douglas and Andrew Bradley on 15 points in the overall standings. Will Silver is close behind on 14.
Johnson was the fastest female at Barooga last Sunday, while Travis Lindhe was quickest overall with a time of 1:09.07 for the 50 kilometre event.
The next stage of the Tour is the Geoff Dixon Memorial at Albury on April 28.
