Kildare Catholic College continued their domination of the Butcher-Preston Cup with a 10-6 win over Mater Dei Catholic College on Monday.

Kildare made it three wins straight wins in the schoolgirls touch competition, but they had to hold off a Mater Dei comeback following a brilliant start.
Kildare led 5-1 just after half-time but Mater Dei got the margin back to within two touchdowns four times, including with two minutes remaining.
However Kildare continued to find the answers.
Coach Michael Mack was pleased with their performance.
"It was a really consistent game from both teams ans we knew they were always going to be a danger," Mack said.
"In the round games the score flattered us a little bit, and in that second half they came right back and it could have been anyone's game."
