Reddies have been struggling for numbers in the lead up to the season and it really showed up against last year's grand finalists in the all-university clash.
Aggies blasted through 16 tries to nil to take a 98-0 win at Beres Ellwood Oval.
It could have been a lot more.
Not only did Aggies let a number of opportunities slip but only nine of their tries were converted.
Coach Will Mitchell was happy to start so positively.
"Our structure and speed exposed a lot of space and a lot of gaps," Mitchell said.
"There were times we didn't pull the trigger enough and there were times we probably pulled it a bit too early but all in all you can't be too upset with a win like that."
Mike van Diggelen forced his way over for two quick tries to get the ball rolling for Ag College and it was hard to stop.
They went into the break up 53-0 and continued to find plenty of space.
Hamish Pennington excelled coming into five-eighth for the injured Cameron Duffy.
Pat Logan and Will Nixon both crossed for doubles in their debuts for the club while Will Whiteley led the way with a hat-trick.
Mitchell isn't getting carried away with the massive win knowing Leeton will provide a much tougher test next week.
The clash coincides with university holidays, but Mitchell hopes the team has built up enough continuity in their pre-season.
"We know Reddies have a lot of improvement in them and we just won't even worry about that and just move onto Leeton next weekend," he said.
"Uni holidays are coming up so we won't have as solid of training sessions as what we are used to, which is unfortunate.
"But we had a good trial last week against Forbes, have been doing a lot of contact at training so physically I think we are up to it but it is just a case of keeping to our structures and that discipline.
"We gave away too many penalties and have a lot of improvement, don't worry about that, but with Leeton we are expecting really fast, physical footy."
Ag College picked up one injury concern with Liam Mowbray in doubt for the clash with a ribs complaint.
However they will welcome back speedster Lochie Ramm in the centres.
