Just three boys among 63 girls from year 7 to 12 took part in the three-day event learning techniques in contemporary, jazz, hip hop and musical theatre styles of dance.
Wagga High School year 10 student Alannah Brett, 15, said she has been involved in the camp twice.
"I love meeting new friends and learning new tricks to further help my technique and dance training," she said.
"There are lots of people who do it every year but there's also a few new faces.
"I love the freedom dancing gives you and that you can express yourself, without actually telling people what you mean."
Co-dance coordinator Kathryn Fisher said students from a range of high schools have participated, including areas like Junee, Albury and Temora.
"There's students from a lot of different areas and that's what it's all about as some of these students don't have these experiences at their schools, so it's nice for them to be challenged," she said.
"Tutors have come from Sydney and Melbourne; we've got Genevieve Morris, who's contemporary, Pete Evans for jazz and hip-hop, and we've also got Stephanie Wall who's an ex-student from Wagga High School.
"Stephanie is a musical theatre professional and she just finished Wizard of Oz Musical in Melbourne and she used to do dance camp herself so it's a really great honour to have her here and she's reliving that experience, but on the other side."
The students were sought into three groups based on their dancing abilities and the camp ended with a showcase to parents and friends.
"It's not just about the show, the students get some really good techniques throughout the camp," Ms Fisher said.
