For Claire's tenth birthday on April 15, she has asked her friends and family to donate to the Cancer Council instead of buying her gifts.
This is not the first selfless act for the young girl who also donated her birthday presents last year to the children's ward at Wagga Base Hospital.
Claire said she was inspired by her friend who had experienced the pain cancer can cause for a person and their loved ones.
"My best friend Bella had her Pop die from liver cancer, so I thought it would be great to help the Cancer Council," she said.
The soon-to-be 10-year-old does not intend to stop her cycle of giving, with big plans for next year already in planning.
"Next year I want to donate to help blind people for my birthday," she said.
"Every morning we see a lady with low vision walking and I want to help her."
Going further than just her own efforts, Claire has encouraged her friends and peers at school to get on board the mission as well.
"Bella is doing the Relay For Life event this year to help the Cancer Council as well which is cool," Claire said.
Claire's mum Kristie said it was in her daughter's nature to be kind.
"She's always loved helping people and is so generous, we're very proud of her and she is proud of herself," she said.
