Wagga will conduct a 10-race TAB meeting on Thursday, where Scott will be represented by Cracklin' Zac and Cracklin' Mac.
Scott considers Cracklin' Zac in the Ladbrokes Info Hub Stakes (400m) as the best of his two chances.
"He's won his last three starts at Wagga but has been placed and unplaced at other tracks in between," Scott said.
"There's not much between the two, it's just that Zac is a lot more genuine than the other fella.
"I know what Cracklin' Mac can run but there's always an excuse for him so I'm starting to wonder if they are excuses."
Cracklin' Mac has had six race starts for four minor placings and contests the Congrats Dr Joe McGirr Maiden (320m) on Thursday.
Scott rates Rodney McDonald's dog Dana Ace as the one to beat, while he believes Cracklin' Zac will face his stiffest opposition from the Lorraine Roy-trained Ned's Chance.
Cracklin' Zac will start from box seven, while Cracklin' Mac comes out of box three. Scott is happy with both.
"Zac won well from the pink at his last start at Wagga and has won from the seven before," he said.
"Three is to Mac's liking, he's better boxed towards the rail. He can be a bit moderate to begin and it's probably too short for him so he will need a bit of luck early and should be running on late."
Scott, a trainer for close to 20 years, paid tribute to the Wagga club and the efforts of John Patton, Adam Oliver and Mitch Williams, saying he has never seen it run better than it is now.
