Wagga Heat went down 89-58 to the Yowies, while the Blaze were also unsuccessful, losing 94-84 in overtime to Queanbeyan.
The Heat were wiped off the court in the second quarter when Queanbeyan put on 19 points to three to set up a commanding half-time lead.
Scott Hare top scored for the Heat with 14 points, closely followed by Matthew Brunell with 13.
It is the Heat's second loss from their opening three games.
Meantime, the Blaze finished regular time with a flurry to tie things up at 79-79. Unfortunately, Queanbeyan proved too good in overtime to run out winners by 10.
Khiani Clark scored 29 points in her first appearance for the season, while Abbey Morton contributed with 16.
The Heat will return home next Saturday night with a clash against Lithgow Lazers at 6pm.
