New recruits John Buchanan and Jason Ainsworth will step out in Demons colours for the first time, as will key defender Matt Hobbs.
The Demons beat Charles Sturt University to securing Hobbs, who will play an important role for Collingullie-GP in the backline.
With no Tom and Joe Byrnes this season, and Tom Keogh in doubt of playing any part, Hobbs' arrival is a big boost to the reigning premiers.
"He'll be really good for us. He'll play on the bigger forwards," Collingullie-GP coach Luke Gestier said.
"He hasn't played much footy the last couple of years but he's been training with us for the past month and looks good."
Buchanan will run out for his first game since doing his knee in round one of the Ovens and Murray League competition last year.
The Demons will test out their new-look forward line for the first time, featuring Buchanan, Gestier and Marc Geppert.
Gestier is also keen to see Ainsworth in action for the first time.
"I think he'll be good. He'll start in the middle and we'll go from there," he said.
Collingullie-GP will be without the Kennedy brothers, Ben Klemke and Blake Harper, among others.
"We're a bit light on in a few areas but we'll be right," he said.
Meantime, Griffith will kick off their campaign with a trial game against Queanbeyan at Nixon Park, Temora.
Queanbeyan's reserves will take on Temora's senior team on the same day.
