The pair missed the Blaze's opening round win in Goulburn but their return is timely with key new players Hannah Ryan and Abbey Favell unavailable for game two this weekend.
Summa Stephens said they're not sure what to expect from the Yowies - who opened their season with a one-point win over Shoalhaven.
But with Wagga's personnel changes, they have a bit to focus on in their own game.
"We're working on our outside shooting game," Stephens said. "We had a good inside game with Hannah in the first round but we've spent the last two weeks working on our outside game, our perimeter shooting, and on being a bit more versatile."
The Wagga Heat are also on the road this weekend making it a double header against the Yowies.
They opened their 2019 account last week at home, enjoying a win over Orange.
Like the Heat, Queanbeyan's mens team is coming off a win last week after starting the season with a loss.
