The centre's "taste of home" project offers a thoughtful gift to troops.
Through sending them these once a year packages filled with reminders of home, the children are offering something tangible (Tim Tams, non-aerosol personal products, lollies, magazines, DVDs, etc), together with some of their drawings, loving thoughts and wishes for happiness to those so far away. Australia Post is helping out with postage.

The Narrandera Adult Riding Club navigation ride in aid of the National Breast Cancer Foundation took place last Sunday. Thirty-three riders dressed in the identifiable pink and paired up for the 12.5km course. Riders and their horses raised $250 for the foundation.

The artistic event "Specimen" at Second Beach, Narrandera on March 22 and 23, will be mind boggling. Lucky Years 3 and 6 from St Joseph's School will attend the specially staged first night on March 22, as the installation will complement their study of the HSIE and visual arts curriculum.
Images from the National Museum of Australia's Institute of Anatomy collection will be projected onto the Murrumbidgee River, where the landscape will bring the pieces to life.
