Okerenyang finished second in the under 15 boys shot put and discus. His discus throw of 52.10m was almost two metres further than his gold-medal winning throw at regionals to qualify for state.
His shot put effort of 15.63m was a 68cm improvement on regionals. In the past two years at state, Gerard has had three sixths and a fifth in the two events.
Langat was third in the under 15 boys 300m hurdles with a superb run, clocking 41.54s. He also made the final of the 400m and long jump.
Ferguson won three bronze medals, finishing third in the 13-14 girls multi-class 100m, 200m and shot put.
The trio was among 20 track and field athletes representing the Kooringal-Wagga and Wagga Wagga Little Athletics clubs in wet and wild conditions in Sydney.
