The Bushpigs are virtually guaranteed to play Griffith in the decider after recovering from their only loss in nearly two seasons to thump Snowy Mountains.
The defending champions take on the winless Brookdale this Friday. Even if they lose, they'd likely hold second spot on percentage and earn a shot at the unbeaten Swans.
"I haven't looked at the ladder too closely. We just want to build on our last game and work on our leading patterns in the forward line," captain Gab Goldsworthy said.
"With this Brookdale game, regardless of our hopes in the final, we just want to build our skills up so that if we do end up being in the grand final, we keep improving."
Griffith finish with a bye this week, ensuring they're guaranteed top spot after a big win over Brookdale last Friday.
The Bushpigs recovered from their loss to the Swans in style, with only wayward kicking and a premature end to the match due to an injury, preventing a bigger blow-out.
Isobel Cleary and Anne Cusack had big games up forward for the Bushpigs as did Emma Layfield and Kendra Tyack at the back.
Goldsworthy said the week 3 loss to Griffith did her side no harm, in the long run, declaring the Swans a strong side with some quality users of the footballer.
"It's actually good for the girls who were here last year and the first-year girls. It was a very big learning curve. And I know for myself and for our coach (Clinton Blake) having to make decisions when you're losing is quite different to when you're winning," Goldsworthy said.
"When you're winning, you're often doing most things right but when you're losing it's a different kettle of fish."
She said the Bushpigs were slow to react to a strong Griffith start but recovered to finish off strongly and then carried that form into the game against the Snowy Mountains.
CSU take on the Bluebells at 6.30pm at Peter Hastie Oval this Friday night.
Riverina Lions take on Snowy Mountains at Gumly Oval.
