The first number five dog on the program to salute, Petra Herrara ($3.50) ensured an extra $200 in fundraising from the Wagga and District Greyhound Racing Club for Moore, who's battling illness.
It was a third straight win for Petra Herrara.
Al's Desire ($2.40), for Terry O'Keefe, kept the fun coming by taking out the Rules Club Wagga Stakes (320m) from the five box.
And Paul Strutt ensured a triple treat for the Sacred Heart Primary student, preparing Bull's Babe ($8.90) to claim a narrow win in the Brett Cox Electrical Stakes (320m).
There must have been some good karma at work because both the Roy kennel and O'Keefe enjoyed winning doubles at Wagga.
Tammy's Chance ($5.10) won the Ian Mackenzie Appreciation Stakes (320m) for the Roys while O'Keefe claimed a race-to-race double when Sock's Desire ($2.60) claimed a third straight victory, taking out the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Stakes (400m).
