The Bruce Williams-trained dog is out to make it four straight wins in the Rules Cub Wagga Stakes (320m).
He's won his last three starts on his home track in what has been a brilliant beginning to his racing career.
After falling on debut, and then finishing sixth in his next start, Myrniong Jake hasn't finished out of the placings since.
His hat-trick means he's won five of 10 starts plus three placings.
All of them have been in Wagga.
Adding to his strong chance, Myrniong Jake has drawn box one in the free for all.
However he's yet to win from the red box, with a third to his credit from his only start from the alley in December.
A number of greyhounds are looking to extend winning form across the meting.
Petra Herrara is out to make it three in a row for Wallenbeen trainer Lorraine Roy in a heat of the Ladrbokes Cash In 0-2 Wins series (525m).
Socks Desire is also looking to make it a hat-trick in the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Stakes (400m).
Wins at Wagga and Goulburn mean he's now won 11 races for Cootamundra trainer Terry O'Keefe.
He's also drawn box one.
Littermate Smart Desire is out to make it four wins in his last five starts.
Wagga is holding a day meeting with the first of 10 races is at 3.14pm.
The program will be wrapped up in three hours with the last a 6.13pm.
