The feral goat population on Scenic Hill has gotten out of hand in recent times, and some Akubra-wearing musterers have been tasked with the job of thinning out their numbers.
Griffith City Council director of sustainable development Phil Harding said it was an ongoing battle to keep the ever-growing goat population in check.
"In response to requests from local residents to address goats sighted on Scenic Hill, Council's accredited contractor will continue to routinely inspect reported sighting areas with the view to herd and cull numbers," Mr Harding said.
The gravity-defying animals can usually be found enjoying the view from up on Scenic Hill, but they have been known to climb down into the city and munch on residents' gardens.
They're also considered a threat to the native flora and fauna, especially if the population is left unchecked.
