Lampton, 18, was a rising star in the NT and played for the Northern Jets last year while fellow wingman Dhurrkay, 23, has previously been signed by NT Thunder, and was on Geelong's VFL list for five months last year.
A youtube highlight of Dhurrkay's NTFL play-of-the-round in 2017 is an eye-catcher. Kicking out from full-back, he gets the ball back and goes on a three-bounce run, finds a target, gets a hand-off and hits the full-forward who goals.
"He's exciting and we can’t wait to bring him down here and see what he’s got," Coolamon coaching coordinator, Mitch Robinson, said.
"Looking at that, he's definitely going to be exciting, for us and the league. People look forward to watching those sorts of players."
Robinson coached Lampton at the Jets and believes his best is still to come.
"Jacon was only 17. He turned 18 while he was down here and he's already played three seasons of senior footy. His best footy is in front of him," Robinson said.
"He's matured as a footballer and I think he's looking forward to playing in the RFL. That footy should suit their style of play a bit more than the Farrer League.
"And for them to play with some really experienced players, like Jake Barrett and Joe Redfern, will be great."
Dhurrkay and Lampton arrive next week and will likely play a practice match within days against Murray League club Tungamah.
