Loss of revenue
I've yet to see any policies from the NSW Labor Party regarding the building of infrastructure that actually creates revenue.

It's fine for the local candidate to sing the merits of schools and hospitals but the jobs, income, tourism and profits generated by a venue such as Allianz Stadium are vital cogs in the machine that pays the wages of nurses and teachers.
Labor supremo Michael Daley seemingly can't even seem to get his facts to agree with reality and has been blathering on about non-existent sprinklers that were somehow spirited away by ghosts in the middle of the night. I'd prefer to see him explain how he intends to make up the massive short-fall in state revenue by servicing an old empty stadium that no-one attends.
Can't NSW have schools and hospitals as well as an income generating Allianz Stadium, or is that too many balls in the air for Labor?

How the PM can win
Prime Minister Morrison has the necessary grit and determination to return this nation around on the right course. The people need to witness a light at the end of the tunnel.
Were he to reinstate the following which the majority are waiting to hear he will romp home with a well deserved through commonsense landslide.
1. Get the mines up and running, we need them.
2. Quash the Paris agreement, that leaves the majority tired of their taxes being exploited elsewhere without their consent (via a referendum to do so).
3. Remove our nation's name from all the sneaky underhanded other obligations to the UN that is bleeding our coffers dry.
4. Leave the savings etc of the retirees alone. They are saving the government money by not having to financially prop them up with pensions.
5. Build dams, salvage all the run off water that goes wasted into the sea.
Pipe water inland so that farmers always have a water supply to grow the crops, meat etc to feed our nation.
6. Meanwhile set aside the billions of taxpayer's money given away elsewhere as an ongoing fund for disasters like they are suffering on the farms, etc. here.
Charity begins at home. Give Aussies an incentive to believe they and future generations will actually have a future on commonsense values.

In response to a letter
Perhaps John Evans may consider applying the methodology he suggests to Simon Bourke (Letters to the Editor, March 9) and spend the Easter period contemplating the fact that George Pell was unanimously convicted by 12-person jury who listened to four weeks of evidence and testimony before convicting him. He may also reflect on the fact that he has not heard this evidence or testimony.
Perhaps if he allows these facts to ‘enter his heart and mind’ he may come to realise that Pell, through these actions, has irreparably damaged our communities in the most abhorrent manner. Perhaps then ‘he will be drawn’ to the realisation that the teachings of Jesus are in fact, not well represented by today's church, and that these teachings may be better enacted without the church.
