While attending the scene, emergency services were called to another single-car head-on crash on Urana Road, Jindera.
Mr Marshall said a Nissan ute also appeared to have left the road and crashed into a tree.
He said both drivers were taken to hospital in a stable condition for monitoring.
Mr Marshall said with head-on crashes repsonders are always concerned about possible pelvic, hip and lower leg injuries.
"It was a massively chaotic morning, with everyone running every which way," he said.
"Luckily for the man, a doctor happened to be second on scene at that crash."
Another driver also escaped serious injuries when their vehicle rolled at Henty.
