Students in Sterling house had plenty to cheer about at Red Hill Public School's swimming carnival on Thursday.

The red house took out overall honours in a carnival filled with participation and sound.
Sports co-ordinator Melissa Barens was thrilled with how day unfolded.
"It was really good," Barens said.
"All the kids participated and everyone got wet on the day.
"It was a really good carnival, we had lots of parents come down and family and friends, plus we trained the kids to do a bit of chanting this year and they took it on board."
It definitely made it a louder atmosphere.
In the pool there were some strong performances.
No records were broken by a number of students qualified for the PSSA carnival.
