The Gears and Beers Festival, organised by the Wollundry Rotary Club, and Spring Jam, put on by Wagga City Council for children and families, are expected to attract thousands of visitors in 2019.
More than 2500 cyclists took to the roads for the fifth annual Gears and Beers event in September, with thousands more people converging on the civic centre precinct for an afternoon of great food, the finest craft beers, and live entertainment.
Money raised from the event is donated to regional charities.
Spring Jam was a brand new festival for Wagga in 2018 and replaced Little Big Day Out, which had outgrown the civic centre.
The family-friendly event was given a new name and a new location in the Wagga Botanic Gardens, with more than 6000 people going along.
Another grant of $36,500 has been awarded to Wagga Wagga Writers Writers to help boost the arts in the city.
