Membership and sponsorship has already been boosted for the Wagga Harness Racing Club since the new track was announced.
President Terry McMillan said membership has increased by a massive 300 per cent.
"It's exciting to see more interest," Mr McMillan said.
"It's a great time to get some people together and start a syndicate.
"It's not a great cost to get into the sport."
Wagga will showcase exceptional racing thanks to the new facility attracting the first group one in the Riverina in 2020.
The new carnival will see four $100,000 finals for four-year-old mares, four-year-old colts and geldings, five-year-old mares and five-year-old colts and geldings.
The group one races are new events and will be for horses that are Breeders Challenge eligible or are paid up for the Bathurst Gold Crown series.
The stable complex is second to none anywhere in NSW and Vicotria

The series will see two rounds of heats on the Friday, then Tuesday with the final to be held on Sunday, April 12, 2020, that will coincide with Easter.
Consolation finals, worth $20,000 each, will also be conducted.
Thanks to the new track more horses will get a chance to run in the carnival with 12 horses able to start in each race compared to 10 at the old track.
Seeing horses parade is also much easier now thanks to the parade ring located right beside the public area between the clubhouse and the stables.
