Shaw has headed to Lockington Bamawn United in the Heathcote District League.
The tall number 49 has played 39 senior games in the last three seasons with the Saints. He played a full season in 2017 then stepped up again in the middle of last year after North Wagga lost Josh Hanlon.
"He's been awesome for the club and he's going to be sorely missed," North Wagga coach Kirk Hamblin said.
"He was a very good clubman, at training every week and great around the club."
Hamblin declined to comment on the Saints' bid to sign ruckman Matt Parks from Marrar.
The club has submitted another clearance for Parks but the Bombers have so far refused a transfer, on the grounds that he's a contracted player, and the matter is likely to head to a tribunal.
Shaw adds to some key losses after guns Lachie Highfield and Daniel Jordan and former captain Ned Mortimer moved on.
Marrar, meanwhile, will be without Jake Hindmarsh, who is on the way to Riverina League club Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes.
Hindmarsh played 13 senior games for the Bombers last year, including their preliminary final and grand final wins against the Saints. He'll take Marrar's departures into double figures this off-season.
MCUE are coached by Hindmarsh's former Marrar teammate, Jeremy Rowe. As an uncontracted player at the Bombers there are unlikely to be any issues with his clearance.
Marrar and North Wagga will meet in round two of the new season, with the Bombers having a bye in round one while North Wagga take on Barellan.
