Devries competed in six events and broke six records in a sensational performance from the 11-year-old.
Records tumbled throughout the day with Mater Dei's Abbie Donelan and St Michaels Coolamon's Cooper Dryden the two other notable record breakers from the carnival.
Mater Dei Primary School enjoyed a big day and produced all of the age champions in the city division.
The swimmers will now prepare for the Diocesan carnival on March 6. For the first time that carnival will feature Riverina independent schools.
From that carnival in Wagga, a squad will be selected to attend the MacKillop trials on March 27.
