Primary schools from Tarcutta, Ladysmith, Kapooka and Uranquinty came together for the Sub Districts Small Schools swimming carnival at Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre.,
It was Ladysmith who came out on top as they were named the overall winning school, while also picking up the handicap points title.
Uranquinty Public School principal Cathy Crick said the students enjoyed coming together for the annual swimming carnival.
“Everyone participated well and with good sportsmanship,” Crick said.
“The older kids cheered on the little kids, which was good, and we had a lot of parents help out with different jobs.”
