A week since the last major storm of red hit the region, it has come back.
Arriving in Wagga after lunchtime, the dust is expected to stick around into the night.
However, isolated storm activity may settle the dust sooner than expected.

Monday’s higher temperature – it reached the top of 39.6 degrees at 1:52pm – strong winds and raised dust was a result of a westerly front moving over the region.
Winds are expected to continue pushing easterly this evening, by which time the dust will drop.
“We’re currently looking at an aerodome warning – or an airport warning – in the region right now,” said Wagga Bureau of Meteorology’s Nigel Smedley.
“I’m hearing thunder near the airport right now and it’s possible there will be a few storms over the city, but they will be pretty isolated.”
At 3:30pm, when the worst of the dust had come through, the temperature was sitting at 37.3 degrees.
The remainder of the week will deliver some relief with lower-30 temperatures, little wind and less dust.
“Today is really the worst of it. It’s looking to be fine and sunny from Tuesday through Sunday,” said Mr Smedley.
