A return to form from St Michaels import Beck Frostick avoided outright defeat against Wagga City on Saturday.

Wagga City enforced the follow on at McPherson Oval after bowling the Saints out for 93.
Resuming at 4-17, St Michaels couldn’t even surpass Josh Thompson’s score of 119 before they were bowled out.
Eric Koetz top scored with 21.
Jon Nicoll and Dean Crane both finished with three wickets while Rob Nicoll and Craig Acton snared two each.
However it was a much improved effort with the bat in the second innings by St Michaels.
Trailing by 179 runs, Frostick led the way with an unbeaten 72 to ensure his side head into their crucial last round match up with Kooringal Colts with something positive.
Both teams are locked on 19 points with the winner keeping their season alive and qualify for finals.
Saints were 1-107 when played was called off.
