The 15 year girls 50m butterfly record, set by Tracey Suitor in 1982, was the stuff of legend before Cox stunned the crowd with a time of 32.93 to set the bar even higher.
"It was pretty incredible to see her break the record," sport coordinator Rebecca Heckendorf said.
"Tracey's family still come every year to watch and they were there to see Trinity's big swim."
Cox, 15, also smashed the 15 year girls 50m backstroke record set in 2012 with a time of 34.90 while 12-year-old Abbey Jollife set a record of her own in the 12 year girls 50m freestyle (34.87).
Macarthur won the overall house championship with Sturt coming in second.
