Jayson Aldridge, 19, of Wagga appeared via video link at Wagga Local Court where he is charged with break, enter and commit serious indictable offence.
Mr Aldridge has not yet entered his pleas.
Police documents tendered in court allege that he broke into a house in Turvey Park between January 24 and 25 this year.
Among the items he has been accused of stealing inside the house are four nail guns and a laser level and receiver — all combined to be worth nearly $8000.
In court on Thursday, the prosecutor said concerns about bail related to community orders already imposed on Mr Aldridge since 2018 and argued for conditional bail, including curfew.
The defendant’s lawyer said he had no objection to the curfew, but he said the fingerprints found were only on the exterior of the window of the premises.
Magistrate Christopher Halburd granted conditional bail.
Mr Aldridge is scheduled to re-appear at Wagga Local Court on April 1.
