The home is located on Berala Street, Kooringal and a dog was home at the time.
Caitlin Dowdle, 25, said she did not realise that her home had been broken into until her eight-year-old daughter noticed the TV was missing.
"I didn't even realise at first because I went home to take my dog to the vet and you can enter my house by going around the lounge room," she said.
"My daughter later asked me where the TV was, at about 7.30pm, and then I've realised that they've also taken our PlayStation and the remote controls, Dyson hand-held vacuum, my birthday Pandora necklace and my laptop."
Ms Dowdle said her daughter's birthday presents were also stolen just days before her ninth birthday.
"I called the police line last night and they came out this morning as I was leaving to take my daughter to school and the forensics team arrived afterwards," she said.
"We think they may have entered through the back door."
Ms Dowdle estimated that over $3000 worth of items have been stolen from her home.
"I've had a really hard week, the dog has been to the vet and I've barely slept," she said.
"I only moved into this house six weeks ago and this has made it hard to feel safe as before I moved into the house, the next door home was burnt down.
"I was just starting to feel safe here as there had been no noise and that has just been ripped apart."
The single mother said this ordeal has made her want to leave the area however will struggle due to financial reasons.
"I'm looking at installing cameras, but this is just another expense and I would like to move but I just don't have the finances," Ms Dowdle said.
"I've also moved house twice in the last six months and I don't feel that I have enough money to move.
"I feel really overwhelmed, I'm still in shock and it's hard when you keep working towards a goal and then things like this happen."
Wagga Police are still investigating this matter and are urging anyone with information to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
"There was a break-and-enter on Berala Street where some electrical items were stolen, including a Nintendo switch and two PlayStation controllers," Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Spliet said.
"Police attended and canvassed the area along with a police dog.
"The matter is still under investigation and we are seeking any information from the public."
