Lawrence was nigh unstoppable in the pool, setting new records in the junior girls 50m breaststroke (52:50), junior girls 50m backstroke (49.20), and junior girls 50m butterfly (56:58).
However, her crowning moment came in the junior girls 200m individual medley where she shattered a 12-year-old record with ease, setting a new time of 4:02:43 to the delight of a packed Oasis Regional Aquatic Centre.
Evie Perry was the afternoon's other record breaker, smashing the 10-years girls 50m freestyle record in a time of 38:57.
