Discover what makes The Riverina Anglican College a great place for learning at the annual open night on Tuesday February 26.
The Riverina Anglican College mentors to students establish growth habits of mind that are helpful in propelling them forward in their learning and development.
Students are enabled to discover their own strengths and how to harness these to find a greater sense of engagement to optimise their learning and their experiences, both within and beyond secondary education.
The learning environment nurtures students to extend and challenge themselves to excel by promoting a culture of excellence, inquiry and collaboration.
The Riverina Anglican College has a proud tradition of academic excellence with students consistently achieving outstanding academic results in the NSW HSC.
Graduates gain entry to many prestigious Universities.
Global Engagement
In 2020, senior students will have the choice of three senior study pathways.
Both the International Baccalaureate Programme Diploma Programme (IBDP) and HSC are recognised tertiary entry qualifications for Australian and overseas universities.
The IBDP is a two-year rigorous course, which provides a liberal educational experience giving students the opportunity to develop excellent independent learning skills, become critical thinkers and extend their international and intercultural understanding.
Students who have interests in a range of industry areas may study TVET courses at TAFE NSW and gain quality workplace skills and experience whilst completing their HSC.
“We want our students to feel safe and to be challenged in their learning, to strive for excellence whilst achieving their own ambitious goals,” principal Paul Humble said.
“All prospective students and families are welcome to come along to The Riverina Anglican College open night and experience the spirit of this wonderful school and community.”
