The upgrade is said to improve product displays and an overall better shopping experience for customers.
A spokesperson for ALDI said the upgrade will not lead to increased prices for shoppers.
“While we’re delighted to be introducing these innovations, we want our customers to know they won’t lead to higher prices,” they said.
New features will include redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, and extended energy efficient chillers.
While ALDI in Wagga CBD closes temporarily, shoppers can still access the Glenfield Park store, and opening hours will continue to be 8:30am-8:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am-7:00pm Saturday to Sunday when the store reopens.
