Riverina Police District Superintendent Bob Noble said at 1.45am on Sunday, there were a number of patrons outside a Temora pub when a fight started.
“A fight started between a 23-year-old male and 20-year-old male, at some point a knife was produced,” he said.
Superintendent Noble said the older man was allegedly stabbed in his upper body.
“The one with the knife left the scene and police arrived a short time later,” he said.
“The injured male is in a stable condition.”
