The storm’s bark was far bigger than its bight though, it seems, with Wagga receiving only 4mm of rain over the last 24 hours.
Today is set to see clear skies with a low to no chance of rain, but Wagga locals will catch a much awaited break from the months’ worth of heat despite the sunshine with an expected top of only 25 degrees.
It’s currently sitting at 17.3 degrees with a breeze blowing through the city, but dusty conditions are still lurking on the horizon.
The forecast suggests not to get too comfortable with today’s cool conditions as low 30’s will creep back in Sunday for the rest of the week.
